Funding received for Peer Support Meetings

AMEND has been awarded a grant of £9,090 from the National Lottery Community Fund for the Peer Support Meetings project. The grant will be used to get back to in-person Peer Support Meetings over the next 12 months to September 2023. These informal and friendly networking meetings are hosted by our fabulous Peer Support Volunteers who will be meeting in November to discuss the way forward in light of this valuable funding. The current plan is that in-person meetings around the UK will make up 3/4 of our meetings but that we will retain 1/4 of our meetings as virtual meetings using Zoom.

All those with PGL syndromes are welcome to join the AMEND meetings. If you are interested in becoming a Peer Support Volunteer for PGL syndromes, then please contact Jo Grey.
