UK Centres Awarded Centre of Excellence Status
Finding an experienced phaeo para medical team is one of the most important decisions you will make in your journey. We were delighted to be involved in these UK applications to the Pheo Para Alliance’s Center of Excellence Program. In particular, we were pleased that both applicants passed with flying colours, and that their lead applicants are on the Medical Advisory Team for Phaeo Para Support UK.
The Pheo Para Alliance programme is still in its infancy and so the following list of centres is not a definitive picture of excellence in care for phaeo para in the UK. If you are struggling to find the right medical team, please contact us and we will help you.

About the Pheo Para Alliance Center of Excellence Program
The Pheo Para Specialized Clinical Center/Center of Excellence program provides an environment where patients receive the best possible pheo para care through a geographically diverse network of clinical centers. In addition to clinical and wellness services, the centers provide professional and lay education in the areas they serve, work with the Pheo Para Alliance in its efforts to continually improve the lives of those affected by the illness, and support clinical research efforts.
The program launched in March of 2021. Centers will be announced throughout the year. Reach out to the Pheo Para Alliance at info@pheopara.org with questions. If you are a center interested in applying for a designation from Pheo Para Alliance, you can find more information here.
The program offers two levels of designation.
Center of Excellence
The Center of Excellence designation recognizes centers that provide cutting-edge, high-quality, multi-disciplinary adult and pediatric care and actively participate in pheo para and related research. Centers of Excellence may be more experienced at treating metastatic disease. Centers of Excellence are indicated below with an orange pin.Clinical Center
The Clinical Center designation recognizes emerging centers that provide high-quality, multi-disciplinary patient care and facilitate pheo para and related research. Clinical Centers are indicated below with a green pin.
